Panasonic DMW-BG2 Battery Grip 

The DMW-BG2 Battery Grip extends shooting time for the LUMIX S1RII (DC-S1RM2) by doubling battery life. It supports hot swapping without powering off, simultaneous power supply for high-energy shooting, and intuitive controls for both vertical and horizontal shots.

Extended Battery Life

By using two batteries—one in the camera and the other in the DMW-BG2 battery grip*—the available battery life is doubled for extended shooting.
*A battery pack, DMW-BLK22 is not included with the DMW-BG2

Hot-Swap Ready

You can replace the DMW-BG2 battery without powering down the device, ensuring uninterrupted shooting or recording. This hot-swapping capability allows for seamless battery changes, making it ideal for extended shoots, live streaming, or time-sensitive situations where downtime is not an option

Simultaneous Power Supply

Shoot more dynamically without the need for external adapters or cables. In power-consuming recording modes, LUMIX S1RII and the DMW-BG2 batteries supply power simultaneously.

Consistent controls for vertical and horizontal shots

The battery grip offers the same comfortable hold and controls as the camera body. With a shutter button, dial, and 8-way joystick, it ensures intuitive operation, letting you shoot just as easily in a vertical position as you would horizontally
