The Shimoda Medium DSLR Core Unit Version 2 integrates seamlessly with the side access of the Shimoda Action X50 backpack, every available Shimoda backpack and Shimoda roller (with the exception of the Action X30). It is designed to fit mid- to pro-sized camera equipment (including gripped bodies) up to 6.3 in (16 cm) tall, along with lenses as long as 70-200mm 2.8. It is designed to fit gear with greater depth requirements, such as video, audio and digital media equipment, or even a medium-sized drone kit. The multipurpose skin is lightweight and water resistant, which helps protect the core unit when it is fully sealed.
