Sony BP-U70 Lithium-Ion Battery

The BP-U70 is a 72 Wh-capacity lithium-ion battery that offers an ideal balance of capacity and weight for many professional video applications.

Battery status data is continuously communicated to the camera. Remaining capacity is displayed on the camera's LCD monitor and viewfinder, allowing operators to monitor battery status easily and accurately while shooting.

The BP-U70 offers significantly higher capacity while having the same charging time than the previous generation BP-U60.
